Nigeria’s downstream sector recorded fresh cargo inflows between September 26 and 30, 2025, with tankers discharging Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), and base oil across Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Warri terminals. 6. Mosunmola – PMS Vessel (Warri)

    Market Implications

In total, over 108,500 MT of PMS, AGO and base oil berthed between September 26 and 30, 2025, across Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Warri. Strike actions temporarily delayed some cargoes, but regional dispersal particularly via Warri and Okrika provided resilience against Lagos bottlenecks.

Independent marketers such as Bovas, NIPCO, and 11PLC remain pivotal in balancing downstream supply flows, as diversification to non-Lagos jetties becomes increasingly critical for stability.
