Nigeria’s coastal depots are witnessing renewed momentum as fresh PMS, AGO and Jet A1 cargoes arrive across key private jetties. Between December 1st and 5th, major downstream operators including Ardova, Emadeb, Rain Oil, NIPCO and Matrix received new vessels, strengthening national fuel availability at the start of the month.

The steady inflow of tankers is improving stock levels and easing supply pressure, especially in Lagos and Warri, where multiple PMS and AGO shipments continue to berth. Consequently, market participants expect more stable ex-depot prices, smoother truck-outs and reduced wait times as December demand builds.

This week’s vessel line-up highlights growing activity across private terminals, demonstrating increased confidence in the downstream logistics chain. With more arrivals scheduled, Ardova, Emadeb and other key players are set to drive improved market circulation in the days ahead.

    Market Outlook

The December uptick in PMS, AGO and JetA1 arrivals underscores Nigeria’s strengthening coastal supply chain, with Lagos recording the highest concentration of inbound tankers. With multiple depots including Rain Oil, NIPCO, Ardova and Matrix receiving fresh product, analysts expect an easing of depot queues and more stable ex-depots in the coming days.

Warri continues to receive modest but steady PMS volumes, led by Matrix Energy’s private jetty operations.

As more vessels secure Berthing slots between December 1 and 5, the supply outlook remains positive across Nigeria’s downstream sector.
