As of today, 12th June 2025, the latest Daily Tanker Position Report confirms active vessel movements across Lagos, Warri, and Calabar. Deliveries of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) are underway or expected shortly, further reinforcing supply across Nigeria’s key coastal fuel hubs.

These developments come as depots seek to stabilise retail prices amid fluctuating global oil trends and increasing competition among marketers.

WESTMORE – Set to Discharge AGO at Nipco Jetty, Lagos

    • Product: Automotive Gas Oil (AGO)
    • Quantity: 28,000 metric tonnes
    • Status: Arrived 6th June
    • Remarks: Loaded at Dangote Refinery, Next tanker to berth/ discharge

    Analysis:
WESTMORE is currently awaiting its turn to berth at Nipco Jetty, Lagos. Once offloading begins, the fresh supply will immediately ease diesel scarcity in Lagos. The cargo, sourced directly from Dangote Refinery, reinforces the refinery’s growing influence in Nigeria’s coastal fuel distribution.

SL AREMU – En Route to Prudent Jetty, Warri

    • Product: Premium Motor Spirit (PMS)
    • Quantity: 15,000 metric tonnes

    • Remarks: Yet to arrive to discharge at Prudent Jetty

    Analysis:
SL AREMU is expected at Prudent Jetty today. Carrying 15,000MT of PMS, this delivery is crucial for marketers in Delta and Edo states, particularly as demand in Warri continues to pick up. The fresh PMS load is expected to strengthen fuel availability across the South-South.

    Analysis:
The Mainland and Northwest depots in Calabar are expecting the MYCROFT vessel today. Once it arrives, it will offload 10,000MT of PMS, easing petrol shortages in Cross River and surrounding communities. Stakeholders in the region have welcomed the incoming cargo, as local inventory had thinned in recent days.

OLUWAJUWONLO – Awaiting AGO Arrival at Fynefield, Calabar

    • Product: Automotive Gas Oil (AGO)
    • Quantity: 12,000 metric tonnes
    • Status: Arrived on 12th June
    • Remarks: Yet to arrive for discharge

    Analysis

Fynefield depot expects OLUWAJUWONLO to berth tomorrow with 12,000MT of diesel. The cargo will help meet rising energy demands from industries and transporters across the South-East. Once offloaded, it will ease the ongoing diesel shortage in Calabar.

Today’s tanker movements once again confirm the crucial role coastal logistics play in Nigeria’s fuel stability.

Furthermore, Lagos to Calabar depots will get deliveries largely sourced from Dangote Refinery are keeping retail networks stocked despite market volatility.

Marketers, depot operators, and logistics managers are advised to track berthing times and stock levels closely as mid-June product movement continues.
