Strategic Hub in the South-West
The South-West Zone of IPMAN encompasses five major depots: Ejigbo/Satellite, Ibadan, Ilorin, Mosimi, and Ore. The newly commissioned secretariat, located in Ibadan, serves as the administrative and operational hub for the region. Ibadan, being a central transport and economic hub, is strategically positioned to support IPMAN‘s activities and improve service delivery across the zone.
Ibadan’s connectivity to key cities such as Lagos, Abeokuta, Ilorin, and Akure makes it a prime location for the secretariat. The city’s vibrant economic environment is expected to bolster IPMAN’s initiatives in the region.

The inauguration was graced by IPMAN National President, Alhaji Abubakar Shettima, and National Vice President, Alhaji Hammed Adekunle Fasola, among other top officials. The leadership praised the South-West Zone for being the first to complete such a project nationwide.

Vision for the Future
The commissioning of the South-West Zonal Secretariat aligns with IPMAN’s broader mission of modernising its operations and enhancing service delivery nationwide. By centralising administrative functions in Ibadan, IPMAN aims to streamline processes, foster better communication among members, and ensure the uninterrupted supply of petroleum products across the region.
This milestone event cements IPMAN’s role as a critical stakeholder in Nigeria’s petroleum industry and underscores its dedication to addressing the challenges facing the sector while contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
