Market Trends and Observations
The data from these depots show mixed trends. While some locations saw price stability, others experienced significant increases, particularly in PMS prices. For example, PMS at Chipet Depot in the Satellite Axis surged by ₦50 within the five-day period.
Diesel (AGO) prices saw marginal fluctuations, with some locations like Rainoil Delta experiencing a ₦6 drop, while others, such as Bulk Strategic in Port Harcourt, recorded a slight increase.
The LPG market showed relatively minor price changes, with some depots maintaining stability, such as Techno Gas and Rainoil, while Nipco and 11PLC saw a ₦5 rise.
ATK prices remained largely stable except at Rainoil, where it increased by ₦10 over the period.
The fuel market remains volatile, with price fluctuations influenced by supply chain challenges, depot stock levels, and broader economic conditions. Nigerians are likely to feel the impact of these changes as transport, production, and household costs adjust to the new pricing realities.
