The Nigerian Naira (NGN) continues to experience fluctuations against major global currencies, reflecting ongoing economic dynamics.

In the parallel market, rates are higher, with the USD trading at around ₦1,605.96.

    Euro (EUR) to Naira:

The Euro stands at about ₦1,588.42 per EUR according to CBN rates.

In the black market, the Euro is exchanged at approximately ₦1,740.

    British Pound (GBP) to Naira:

The official rate for the British Pound is around ₦1,910.66 per GBP.

However, in the parallel market, the GBP is trading at about ₦2,080.

    Market Dynamics:

The disparity between official and parallel market rates underscores the challenges within Nigeria’s foreign exchange landscape. Factors such as oil price volatility, foreign reserve levels, and economic policies continue to influence these rates.

    Implications for Stakeholders:

Businesses and individuals engaged in international transactions should remain vigilant, considering the variability between official and black market rates. Staying informed through reliable financial sources is essential for making sound economic decisions.
