As the holiday season begins, Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦899.50 per litre. This move is aimed at easing transport costs for Nigerians during the festive period.

The announcement was made by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, on Thursday. This price drop comes after a previous reduction to ₦970 per litre on November 24.

According to Chiejina, the refinery is also offering a unique purchase option: for every litre bought in cash, customers can buy another litre on credit. This offer is available to those who provide a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.

“To help reduce transport expenses during the holidays, Dangote Refinery is offering a special discount. From today, our petrol will cost ₦899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM. Additionally, customers can buy one litre on credit for every litre purchased in cash, supported by a bank guarantee,” Chiejina stated.

The refinery thanked Nigerians for their support and reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality and eco-friendly petroleum products at competitive prices.

Chiejina highlighted that Dangote Refinery is ending Nigeria’s reliance on poor-quality imported fuel, which has historically harmed health, machinery, and the environment.

This move reflects the refinery’s focus on easing the economic burden for Nigerians while maintaining its leadership in the country’s energy market.
