BREAKING: NNPC Reopens Portal for Oil Marketers

Abdulateef AhmedBy Abdulateef AhmedOctober 14, 2024 BREAKING No Comments1 Min Read

Just a week after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) closed its petrol purchasing portal, it has now been reopened.

The closure had sparked concerns from oil marketers, warning of potential fuel scarcity due to the inability to place new orders through the portal.

Checks by Petroleumprice on Sunday October 13, showed that the NNPCL petrol purchasing portal is now active

Despite over 90 million litres of petrol, valued at approximately N79 billion, being held by the NNPCL, dealers were unable to secure new supplies during the portal’s shutdown.

The NNPC Retail Limited Online Marketers Portal, operated by NNPC Retail Limited, facilitates the application and renewal of Bulk Purchase Agreements (BPA) for marketers. It is accessible from anywhere, at any time, using any web-enabled device.
